Under the title "Shelter of Combatants," the Eugênio de Almeida Foundation hosts an exhibition by Spanish artist Eugenio Ampudia, curated by D. André de Quiroga and sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, as part of the biennial Spanish art and culture festival, Mostra Espanha.
“Shelter of Combatants” is a comprehensive journey through Eugenio Ampudia’s work, expressed in multiple formats: dynamic installations and kinetic sculptures, photographs documenting original performative actions, drawings, and videos with diverse visual narratives.
The exhibition is a complete showcase of the new communication processes that the artist establishes between his multidisciplinary work and the audience, making them active participants in the process. The works in this exhibition are also united by a critical perspective that challenges the viewer, leading the visual experience to new territories of reflection and dialogue.
