Max Estrella presents its Young Collectors program, an initiative designed to bring contemporary art closer to young audiences and to encourage emerging collecting. Young Collectors by Max Estrella invites artists represented by the gallery to create works conceived specifically for this program, with accessible prices, while always maintaining the quality and spirit of their artistic practice. Through this proposal, the gallery reaffirms its commitment to mediating and supporting contemporary art, opening a space for access, learning, and dialogue among artists, collectors, and new audiences. Young Collectors aims to accompany the first steps in building a collection, understanding art not only as an object of desire but as a form of active participation in contemporary culture.

The piece presented in January 2026 is a photograph by Aitor Ortiz, part of his ‘Metaflora’ series, recently presented in his exhibition Between Archetypes and Artifacts at the Lázaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid. Through the selection, isolation, and photography of these metallic fragments, Ortiz reveals organic forms, symmetries, and archetypal structures that evoke plant life while still acknowledging their industrial origin
