Max Estrella Gallery presents “Spaesamento”, a new project by Fernando Sinaga that is shown accompanied by a selection of his latest works.
Throughout the last decade Sinaga has made an effort to expand a project that has accentuated the desire to underline a dimension that goes beyond formalism and feelings. His notions of light and shadow are known as one of the mystical references that, in Wittgenstein’s sense, are something that is shown and that cannot be said. However, writing is one more part of the work for this artist, a strange prosthesis for memory that, when it seems capable of explaining something, ends up being mute. The spaces of Sinaga seek silence as an empty place where we can rush to.
