Diptych from the series The Music of Things, a set of photographs derived from the installation Harmonic Motion, winner of the Prix Ars Electronica 2023. This installation generates moving waves by activating a musical cymbal through an energy system and lasers. The cymbal’s natural vibrations become both audible and visible, and the reflections of the waves it emits float around it. With this ethereal material—something that can be both heard and seen—an abstract narrative unfolds through time and space, exploring the vibratory essence of our natural world.
The series The Music of Things immortalizes these waves in a sequence of photographs printed on aluminum, transforming them into a score of sounds and sensations for the viewer.
This diptych is presented in an edition of 15 copies, offered at a special Young Collectors program price of €900 (VAT not included).
