‘Transversal’ (2020), is part of the 23rd edition of the @begehungen.festival , curated by @dr.claudiatittel Under the title “In der Vorstellung” (In the Imagination / In the Performance / In the Mind’s Eye), this year’s festival explores the many ways in which contemporary realities are staged, constructed, and negotiated.

The work transforms the digital image into matter through an installation of suspended sheets that configure a walkable space. It brings bodies, image, and space into relation, revealing the unstable, fragmented, and elusive condition of the digital image when translated into physical scale.
