Rafael Lozano-Hemmer will be part of LuzMadrid 2026. In its third year, the festival will stage a large version of Thermal Drift (2022), an interactive artwork that visualizes the dispersion of body heat as emissions of generative colour that flow away from the participant.
The installation will take place at the Frontón Beti Jai, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2011, one of the most distinctive buildings in Madrid’s architectural heritage, it is the last large industrial pelota court preserved in the city. Admission is free from 19:30 until capacity is reached. More information on the festival here.
