As part of his research, Lagos recently visited Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, exploring the natural environment and its potential connections to his artistic practice. This visit marks one of the starting points of a new body of work that will take shape throughout his residency.
The programme will culminate in an Open Studio, offering visitors the opportunity to meet the artist and gain insight into his ongoing research and creative process, as well as to discover the work developed during his time in Miami.
