Max Estrella Gallery presents in Madrid a selection of recent images by German photographer Claus Goedicke, whose work shows a series of still-lives combining photographic technique and pictorial composition, while recreating the plastic vocabulary (vivid colors in harmony or contrast and objects in the foreground that immediately capture the attention of the viewer ...) typical in the world of advertising.
A distinctive characteristic of his photographs is that they capture everyday objects such as food or plastic bottles and containers – stripped of labels, caps or any other specific reference – that are part of the daily life of any person. Arranged in groups on vibrant colored surfaces, the objects suggest indeterminate spaces in which they appear to float.
