Agustín Llanos

Interior hacia afuera

Oct 19 - Nov 25, 2000

Max Estrella Gallery presents a selection of the latest works by Agustín de Llanos, 1964, a constructor of empty angles that provokes perplexity and reflection.

About twenty works have been selected, of different formats, whose aesthetics are framed within the constructive avant-gardes, halfway between painting and sculpture, between two-dimensionality and three-dimensionality. Its common denominator continues to be the subtle treatment of the wood, taking advantage of the texture and color of the cut boards, always combining it in some of its parts with polychrome and with various materials such as glass, iron, paper and even fabric.
