Colombian artist Juan Lear, 1965, presents “Inmagen Real”, a project that has been developed during the last two years and that will be shown for the first time in Max Estrella gallery in Madrid, later in Lipanjepuntin (Trieste, Italy) and in Nina Menocal Gallery in Mexico City.
Multidisciplinary artist and unclassifiable, Lear has focused his work on the study of the image, its repetition and its recognition as it is perceived by the viewer. From this stage he showed his results in the international pavilion of the Venice Biennale.
In his new works he uses photography, sculpture and everyday elements indistinctly, giving sound a great creative role.
